lil' boy b'day cards

I try to make kids cards to appeal to the kids, so they don't have to be too difficult.... I love the little stick on eyes you can get.... I have a few different sizes and stick them on faces.... this face is just a button with eyes ;)



And this one below is a badge card. The number 5 has a safety pin stuck on the back and it's pinned (through punched holes) onto the front of the card. Unfortunately, badge cards can't be LATE or they're no good....so Jacob never got this card :( I might be able to use it for someone else one day.... The cardboard is from the Glitter Stack from Big W.


So if you're ever stuck for a kid's card - you can do a badge for ANY age!

doh! it's MY blog!

When I go blog-hopping (about once a day at the moment) I keep popping into this blog and being disappointed that there's nothing NEW! And then I'm like 'durrr, it's MY blog!'.

Reminds me of the time we were camping out with lots of friends and there were a few babies (some of you will know where this is) and I half-woke in the middle of the night to a baby crying and crying and crying and I thought 'why doesn't the mother get it?' and then I realised it was MY baby!!! Boy did I scramble fast through the mozzie nets then! haha.

Anyway, I'll try to update my blog at least once a week, hopefully more..... just to keep me happy when I pop in ;)

I want a "Twinkerbell" cake!

Well, I'm not a cake maker at all, but considering this is a blog for my creations (and I haven't made anything else lately!) this will have to do! It's actually a terribly made cake, but the doll saved the day :)

Single colour LO's

Here's some more digiscraps.... with Photoshop CS2, you don't need much imported stuff. You can make pretty much anything yourself :) Out of these 2 LO's the only imported thing is the white scroll in the top one....



These aren't very colourful, coz when there's a fair bit of detail / journalling I don't like to make it any busier than it has to be...


That middle one is my favourite pic of Brett, so had to scrap it :)

Wall hanging - li'l bit country :)

This is part of a wall hanging I did for a friend's 30th.... you know the kits you can get from Spotlight? Each slab described her in some way, using countrified themes.... teddies, patchwork, flowers, honey bees etc.

Was fun to make :) Took a while, though. I'm an absolute snail at papercraft!

Cardmaking... I'll start with some sweet favourites...

I've got so many piccies of cards I've made and ideas that I've collected from here there and everywhere... Here's a couple simple ones that I just loved when I'd finished. Sometimes, they just happen without too much effort or mucking around!

That one above is for a baby girl, and the one below is for a wedding. Haha, can you believe I gave this wedding card to the couple without writing in it!!! Totally blank inside! Luckily they knew who the pressie was from anyway and sent it back to me to write in :) Actually, I think I still have it here somewhere????
